Invisible | Indivisible
When it comes to cast off and forgotten things, I like to consider their past life, past value and imagine future uses so when I came across a bale of industrial wool felt remnants, I was immediately drawn to the fuzzy surface, perforated forms and residual marks of industry. I have been exploring this material through cutting, sewing, gluing, weaving and painting in search of new possibilities. I'm working with ideas about what we cast aside and how we ascribe value, loss, failure, absurdity, and function.
